Chat in the main Cashfeed app
Open Chat in Cashfeed.
Use New chat to begin a fresh conversation.
Open History to view previous conversations.
Select an existing conversation to continue it.
If you are viewing another user’s conversation, the header shows who owns it.
Conversation history only shows what you’re allowed to view in that organisation.
Ask conversational questions about your own organisation data.
Use questions about invoices, suppliers, transactions, or accounting information.
For number-heavy questions, expect charts or cards instead of long text.
For comparisons, the assistant can show period-over-period changes.
For lists and structured results, it can render tables.
The assistant is read-only: it explains and analyses, but does not change records.
Ask for a chart when you want trends or category comparisons.
Ask for a KPI card when you want one key number.
Ask for a comparison when you want current versus previous values.
Ask for an insight callout when you want anomalies, risks, or standout findings.
Ask for a table when you need structured rows with amounts, dates, or percentages.
Charts are best for trends and rankings; tables are best for detailed lists.
Use chat only in organisations on the Accounting Automation plan.
Make sure chat is available for that organisation.
If you manage multiple organisations, check the correct organisation before asking questions.
If chat is unavailable, switch organisations and try again.
Access is organisation-specific, not just user-specific.
Check that the organisation is on the Accounting Automation plan.
Switch to the correct organisation and try again.
Ask your Cashfeed admin to confirm access for that organisation.
Contact Cashfeed support if the organisation should have chat but does not.
Ask for a chart explicitly, such as bar, line, or pie.
Keep the request focused on numbers, trends, or category comparisons.
Try a KPI, comparison, or table if the chart type does not fit the question.
Rephrase the question with a time period or clear grouping.
Ask for a narrower question with a specific date range.
Include the supplier, invoice type, or transaction group you want.
Ask for a table or KPI when you need exact figures.
Use a comparison request if you want changes versus another period.
Open History again and refresh the conversation list.
Check that you are in the same organisation used for the chat.
If you are not the owner, confirm you have permission to view it.
Contact Cashfeed support if the conversation should exist but does not.
Try sending the question again.
Simplify the request into a smaller question.
Remove extra comparisons or long lists from the prompt.
Contact Cashfeed support if the problem repeats.
