Owner and Admin can manage organisation settings, billing, connections, users, and invoices.
Approver can view and approve invoices, manage suppliers, and view bank transactions.
Accountant has read-heavy access for accounting data, invoices, and transactions.
Only Owner and Admin can access the users list and change permissions.
Some actions are limited further by the screen you are on, even if a role looks broad.
Open the organisation's users list.
Find the member and open their role selector.
Choose the new role.
If you choose Owner, confirm the ownership transfer prompt.
Save the change and refresh related views if needed.
You cannot change your own role to remove your last owner access.
Open the invite user flow.
Enter the person's email address.
Choose Admin, Approver, or Accountant.
If relevant, add them to an approval-rule team after access is created.
Send the invite; Cashfeed emails a welcome link to join the organisation.
Approvers can invite only other Approvers; Admins and Owners can invite higher-access roles.
Open your own role settings if you need Review, Approve, or Pay access.
Toggle the role permissions you need for your day-to-day work.
Use Approval rules when you need to change who gets asked to approve invoices.
Check that your organisation role still allows the workflow you want to use.
These roles are separate from the organisation-level roles like Owner, Admin, Approver, and Accountant.
Check that you are an Owner or Admin.
You cannot change your own role.
The organisation Owner cannot be removed or demoted.
Contact Cashfeed support if the change still fails.
Only Owners can remove Admins.
You cannot remove the organisation Owner.
You must be an Admin or Owner to remove permitted roles.
If the member is linked to teams or approvals, update those workflows first.
Use a valid email address.
Make sure your role is allowed to invite the selected role.
If you added an approval-rule team, confirm that team exists.
Contact Cashfeed support if the invitation keeps failing.
Open the approval-candidate picker again.
Search by name or email.
Enable include accountants if you need accountant-linked users.
Approval teams may also affect who appears for approval workflows.
