
Settings → Connections → Messaging platforms
Open Messaging platforms and choose Connect.
Sign in to Slack and approve the requested permissions.
If you started from onboarding, the flow returns you there after authorization.
After success, Slack is stored for the organisation and your Slack users are synced automatically.
Use the same email in Cashfeed and Slack for automatic user linking.
Open the Slack connection settings from Messaging platforms.
Pick the channel that should receive organisation notifications.
Use the refresh option if the channel list is outdated.
Set the channel to clear it and stop sending organisation notifications there.
Only available channels for the connected workspace are shown.
Open Slack notifications in your user settings.
Turn on Slack notifications to receive invoice notifications and alerts in Slack.
Choose Short, Detailed, or Detailed with document for message format.
Turn on Slack DMs sync if you want invoice chat replies to mirror between Slack and Cashfeed.
Turning off Slack notifications also turns off DM sync.
You only see this section after your organisation has an active Slack connection.
Check the connection status if Slack stops working.
Reconnect Slack when Cashfeed says permissions are missing.
Remove the connection from Slack settings if you no longer want it connected.
Removing the organisation connection also removes user Slack integrations.
Reconnect is needed when Slack reports missing scopes or renewed permissions.
Confirm your organisation already has an active Slack connection.
Check that you have Admin, Owner, or Approver access for user settings.
If you are not an organisation admin or owner, ask one to connect Slack.
Refresh the channel list and try again.
Reconnect Slack if the connection is missing channel-read permissions.
Check that the workspace has public or private channels available.
Make sure Slack notifications are turned on before changing other options.
If enabling notifications for the first time, use the same email in Cashfeed and Slack.
Try reconnecting Slack if Cashfeed cannot find your Slack account.
Click Reconnect Slack from the warning banner or connection settings.
Finish the Slack authorization flow again.
If reconnect still fails, contact Cashfeed support.
Reconnect Slack from Messaging platforms.
Set the notification channel again after reconnecting.
Re-enable your personal Slack notifications if needed.
