✅ Common tasks

Connect Slack

1. Click Connect next to Slack.

2. Sign in to Slack.

3. Approve the requested permissions.

4. Return to Cashfeed after the redirect finishes.

If you start from onboarding, you return to the onboarding connect flow instead.

Choose a channel

1. Open the Slack connection settings for the owner connection.

2. Select a channel from the channel list.

3. Click Refresh if you need to reload the list.

4. Clear the selection to stop using a channel.

Only channels returned by Slack are available; archived channels do not appear.

Set Slack preferences

1. Open the Slack notifications section.

2. Turn on Slack notifications.

3. Choose a message format: Short, Detailed, or Detailed with document.

4. Turn on Sync invoice chat with Slack DMs to mirror invoice chat in both places.

Turning off Slack notifications also turns off two-way chat sync for that save.
